Stormy Daniels: biography
Stormy Daniels is a famous pornographic actress and director of adult movies. She has gained many awards in this sphere. In 2018, the scandal related to Stormy’s sexual relationship with the American President Donald Trump brought the woman even more popularity.
Childhood and youth
Stephanie Gregory Clifford was born in 1979. She took the pseudonym Stormy Daniels at the beginning of her career: “Stormy” was the name of the Mötley Crüe bass guitar player’s daughter (Stephanie has been the group’s fan from her youth), and “Daniels” was the reference to the famous bourbon Jack Daniel’s which was, according to its commercial, the most popular drink from the south.
The girl’s mother brought up her daughter alone: the father had left the family. Stephanie was the only child, and the mother tried to provide her with the best. The future pornographic star went to the prestigious school in Louisiana; she was also engaged in out-of-school activities. Stephanie edited the school newspaper and led the youth organization 4-H. At 17, she began to earn some significant money: she got hired at Baton Rouge as a stripper.
Movies and career
In the late 1990s, the beautiful, voluptuous young woman entered the world of the porn industry. Initially, Stormy Daniels worked on lesbian movies only and collaborated with Sin City and Wicked Pictures studios. Soon, she changed her “qualification” and appeared in the movie Heat (2002) where a man was her stage partner.
The debut turned out to be successful. Soon, Stormy signed an exclusive contract with Wicked. The overwhelming career with numerous prizes and fame was ahead.
In 2004, the actress won the Best New Starlet award that could be compared to the Academy Award in the sphere of X-rated movies. It was the triumph: she surpassed the famous star Jesse Jane. Soon, Wicked studio made Stormy its lead actress.
Overall, Daniels’s filmography includes approximately 200 movies. At the peak of her popularity, international glossy magazines began to cooperate with her: she appeared on covers of Playboy, Hustler, Penthouse, High Society, and GQ. Simultaneously, she worked as a columnist for FHM. Besides, Stormy Daniels participated in music videos of many groups: for example, she performed a pole dance in “Wake Up Call” by Maroon 5.
Stormy Daniels took part in the big-screen movies as well: she gained the roles in The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) and Knocked Up (2007). In 2010, the woman had the chance to work with Rob Van Dam and Dave Bautista in Wrong Side of Town by David DeFalco.
In 2004, Stormy took up directing; in the next five years, she created more than 60 adult movies.
Stormy Daniels has been married twice. In 2003, her colleague, the pornographic actor Pat Myne, became her first husband. He was 13 years older than Stormy. The marriage lasted for less than two years.
Soon after the divorce, the woman married again; the journalist Mike Moz was her partner. However, the couple failed to make a stable family and broke up in 2009.
A year and six months later, fans learned that stormy gave birth to a daughter; the drummer and X-rated movie actor Glendon Crain was the girl’s father. In her interviews, the actress admitted that motherhood was challenging for her and emphasized she had to work a lot. The woman was not ready for a child:
“I'm not like a normal mom.”
Later, Stormy shared her family photos in social networks; she wrote she was happy to raise such a smart and pretty daughter.
Stormy Daniels is always on the move: she loves traveling and actively participates in social life. For example, she holds pre-electoral campaigns. More than that, she tried herself in politics: in 2009, she ran for the post of a senator from her state. However, she rejected that idea in the end: she was humiliated by the fact that people and the media did not view her seriously.
Today, Stormy has sued against Donald Trump. The major scandal began in 2011 when the pornographic star told In Touch that she had met the future American leader and had a sexual relationship with him when he invited her to his hotel room after a golf match. At that time, Trump allegedly confessed that he and his wife Melania slept in different bedrooms. The article was not published.
Nevertheless, the story went public. According to journalists, before the presidential elections, Trump’s lawyers paid Stormy $130 thousand (other sources named $95 thousand) to make her silent. In January 2018, the White House denied any financial deals with Clifford and published a letter where the actress also denied the sexual relationship with Trump.
In March, the star revealed the details of her connections with the man on the CBS channel. She added an unknown man threatened her if the information would ever come up.
The president’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, sued Stephanie Clifford over non-compliance of the document prohibiting the disclosure of the connections with Donald Trump. In her turn, the actress made a case and insisted the document was invalid because there was no president’s signature there.
On April 30, Stormy went to the court again and accused the American leader of slander: Trump posted on his Twitter the information according to which Stormy was involved in fraud. Today, the investigation is going on.
